Transport
For Ridderweek we run coaches from Oslo Airport Gardermoen, Oslo Bus Terminal, the DFDS quay in Oslo and Bergen.
Please note: for those flying into Gardermoen, our coaches leave at 12:00 and 14:00. You are responsible for arriving at the airport in good time to catch one of them.
We do not run additional transport to and from Beitostølen beyond what is listed below. Participants are responsible for making sure their flight times match the coach departures.
Coaches to Beitostølen
From Bergen (approx. 6 to 6.5 hours)
Departure 15 March at 09:00, Bergen (Hotel Terminus) to Beitostølen.
Pick-up: Hotel Terminus and Voss.
Route: Bergen, Dale, Voss, Trengereid, Vik, Håbakken, Bolaugkrysset, Tyinkrysset, Vang/Grindaheim, Beitostølen.
From Oslo Bus Terminal (approx. 4 to 4.5 hours)
Departure 15 March at 13:00, Oslo Bus Terminal to Beitostølen. The coaches run directly with no stops along the way.
Arrival and departure service at Oslo Bus Terminal: Lions hosts are on hand with luggage and kit.
Arrival and departure service at Oslo Central Station (Oslo S): Lions hosts can meet participants arriving by train at Oslo S and help with luggage across to the bus terminal. Please flag any need for assistance in the registration form.
From DFDS quay, Oslo (approx. 4.5 hours)
Departure 15 March at 10:30, DFDS quay, Oslo.
Pick-up: DFDS quay, Hotel Bondeheimen (central Oslo) and Sandvika Bus Terminal.
Route: Oslo, Hotel Bondeheimen, Sandvika Bus Terminal, Hønefoss, Hallingby, Bagn, Beitostølen.
From Oslo Airport Gardermoen (approx. 4 to 4.5 hours)
Coach 1: Departure 15 March at 12:00, Oslo Airport Gardermoen.
Coach 2: Departure 15 March at 14:00, Oslo Airport Gardermoen.
Both coaches run directly to Beitostølen with no stops along the way.
Arrival and departure service at Gardermoen: Lions hosts gather arriving participants at a marked spot in the arrivals hall (the exact location is confirmed nearer the time with Avinor) and help with boarding, luggage and kit for the onward coaches to Beitostølen.
Flight numbers: anyone arriving by plane and continuing by coach from Gardermoen must enter their arrival time and flight number in the registration form.
Coaches from Beitostølen
To Bergen (approx. 6 to 6.5 hours)
Departure 22 March at 11:00, Beitostølen (Radisson Blu) to Bergen (Hotel Terminus).
Drop-off along the way: Voss and Hotel Terminus.
Route: Beitostølen, Vang/Grindaheim, Tyinkrysset, Bolaugkrysset, Håbakken, Vik, Trengereid, Voss, Dale, Bergen.
To Oslo Bus Terminal (approx. 4 to 4.5 hours)
Departure 22 March at 10:30, Beitostølen (Radisson Blu) to Oslo Bus Terminal.
Drop-off: Sandvika Bus Terminal, Oslo Bus Terminal and Hotel Bondeheimen.
Arrival and departure service at Oslo Bus Terminal: Lions hosts help with luggage and kit, and can accompany participants across to Oslo S if that helps. Please note this in the registration form.
To Oslo Airport Gardermoen (approx. 4 to 4.5 hours)
Coaches 1 and 2: Departure 22 March at 08:00, Beitostølen (Radisson Blu) to Oslo Airport Gardermoen (one stops at Hotel Bondeheimen along the way).
Coach 3: Departure 22 March at 08:00, Beitostølen (Radisson Blu) to Oslo Airport Gardermoen.
Arrival and departure service at Gardermoen: Lions hosts help with check-in, luggage and kit as needed.
Flight numbers: anyone flying home must enter their departure time and flight number in the registration form.

Public transport
To arrange your own journey to Beitostølen, consider Valdresekspressen: Vy Express VY450 (Valdresekspressen).

By car
From Oslo the drive takes roughly 3 hours 30 minutes.

Shuttle bus
Throughout the week two shuttle buses run between Radisson Blu on Beitostølen and the ski stadium at Beitostølen Healthsports Centre. They run every half hour at the following times:
- Monday to Wednesday 09:00 to 15:30
- Thursday to Friday 08:30 to 15:30
- Saturday 07:30 to 15:30
