Our Knights

The Ridderrennet Association depends entirely on a strong team of supporters, co-organisers and dedicated volunteers. Together they make it possible to create arenas for community, mastery and inclusion, year after year. We call them Our Knights.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon is the patron of Ridderrennet, an official recognition of the event’s important role in society. He continues the Royal House’s proud tradition and close ties to Ridderrennet, which have lasted ever since King Olav took part in the founding back in 1964.

Ridderrennet receives annual support from the Norwegian Ministry of Culture and Equality.
