FAQ
Here you'll find answers to the questions we hear most often about Ridderweek. Can't find what you're after? Do get in touch via the contact page.
Can I register for Ridderrennet only?
Yes. In the registration form, choose the Ridderweek participant ticket and/or the member price.
Do I need to bring ski equipment?
Bring your own skis and kit if you have them, though hire is available at Beitostølen.
Do I need a doctor's certificate to take part?
No, you don't. If you plan to race in the competition class, you will need to be classified, see the Classification page.
Who can take part in Ridderweek?
Participants with visual and physical impairments from age 10 to 105. Participants with cognitive and mental impairments are most warmly welcome at Ridderrennet itself.
What if I can't be at Beitostølen the whole week?
That's perfectly fine. We recommend taking part in the full week, but it isn't a requirement.
Can I have a single room?
The standard price assumes a shared double room. Where single rooms are available, they come with a supplement of 2,800 NOK.
How old do I need to be to take part?
Ridderweek is open to anyone from 16 and up. For ages 16 to 18 there is a dedicated youth group.
