Fast Track
Fast Track is the group for first-time participants and the newly impaired aged 20 and over: for anyone who has acquired a visual or physical impairment within the past five years, whether through illness or injury.
Who can take part?
Adults aged 20 and over who are newly impaired or first-time participants at Ridderweek. Registration is open on a rolling basis while places remain.
Accommodation and support
The group stays together in new apartments at Riddertunet, with 2 to 3 leaders looking after the group before, during and after the stay.
Support through the week
Each participant has a dedicated companion through ski activities and social events across the whole week.
Self-sufficient
Taking part assumes you are self-sufficient. That means managing personal hygiene and most day-to-day tasks yourself. Your companion helps with kit and the basics tied to training and competition, but cannot provide wider personal assistance.
Price
- 2,700 NOK for the full week, covering meals, accommodation, activities, social events and competitions
- Coach to and from Beitostølen is arranged and paid for separately on registration
- All remaining costs are covered by the foreningen Ridderrennet
Classification
All first-time participants at Ridderweek go through classification before the stay.
